The Sting Police

English band The Police formed in 1977, playing high energy punk/ska, soon morphing into a sophisticated and highly successful pop rock group in the 80’s. When they released Synchronicity in ’83, they claimed the title as the Biggest Band in the World! Their front man, singer, and primary songwriter, Sting, then went solo in 1986 and returned to his jazzier roots, becoming the respected and revered artist he is today. In 2004, The Police were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, and in 2007, their Reunion Tour circled the globe, cementing them as true legends of the music world. Their #1 hit, Every Breath You Take is woven into the fabric of international music culture, and Sting’s solo compositions can be heard on the radio and streaming services everywhere. Police hits like Roxanne, Don’t Stand So Close To Me, Wrapped Around Your Finger, and Every Little Thing She Does Is Magic, and Sting’s hits Fields of Gold, If I Ever Lose My Faith In You, Desert Rose, and Englishman In New York are always featured at Sting Police shows.

U2X Bio

Irish band U2 topped the charts throughout the 80’s and 90’s and continues to draw millions on their world stadium tours. Florida-based U2X may play slightly smaller venues, but the spirit and energy of U2 is evident at every show. The music of U2 has evolved from edgy and ambient alternative to synth driven dance-pop, to more sophisticated, socially conscious rock. Through the years, however, they’ve always maintained an anthemic quality for Bono’s soaring and expressive vocals. Guitarist “The Edge” plays chiming, effects-based rhythms, which is quite unique compared to today’s technical guitar shredders with their extended soloing styles. U2X covers all the greatest hits and fan favorite album cuts, performed with the attention to detail needed to sound “just like the record”.
