Stevie Wonder is an American treasure, and it is no surprise that musicians want to pay tribute to him. A child prodigy, Wonder has entertained audiences and influenced musicians for more than six decades. Considered one of the most influential musicians of the 20th century, he has won 25 Grammy Awards and is a member of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, as well as the Songwriter Hall of Fame and the Rhythm and Blues Music Hall of Fame. In 2014, he was given the Presidential Medal of Freedom.

Hotter Than July is a Stevie Wonder tribute band, designed to celebrate this extraordinary artist. Fronted by Gerry Williams, Hotter Than July brings infectious energy and soulful vibes to every performance. Williams, a vocalist, percussionist, and keyboardist, has been captivated by Wonder’s music since childhood and he brings a flair for funk and soul that guarantees a night of non-stop music that is simply Wonder-full. With a powerhouse rhythm section and vibrant horns, Williams and the band bring Stevie Wonder’s timeless classics, like “Signed, Sealed, Delivered,” and “I Wish” to life.

Gerry Williams embodies the spirit of Stevie Wonder with his dynamic performance. A seasoned industry professional and well-regarded vocal coach, he earned the title of “Boy Band Guy” during the pop explosion of the mid-‘90s, mentoring artists who would go on to become Grammy and Dove Award winners, including Mandy Moore, Leah Lewis, Jordan Knight, Jeff Timmons, and Chris Kirkpatrick. He has also made a mark on reality television, serving as a vocal coach on shows like Mission Man Band and Big in America, and has worked as a songwriter and producer for artists including Jordan Knight and C’Note.

Come hear the songs you love, sung the way you love to hear them. It will surely be Hotter Than July.
