NAVAH PERLMAN
Known for her lyrical eloquence on the stage, Navah Perlman has established herself as one of the most poetic and admired pianists of her generation. The daughter of renowned violinist Itzhak Perlman, Navah began her piano studies at age six with Ronit Amir Lowenthal and later attended the Juilliard School, where she worked with Herbert Stessin.
Navah has performed to critical acclaim with numerous orchestras throughout North America, Europe and Asia, including the Pittsburgh Symphony, the Montreal Symphony, the Israel Philharmonic and the New Japan Philharmonic. She also collaborates frequently in chamber music with violinist Philippe Quint and cellist Zuill Baily as the Perlman/Quint/Baily Trio. This is her debut performance at the Lyric.
