The Bronx Wanderers
The Bronx Wanderers bring the top hits of the 50s and 60s back in style. With their celebrated combination of authentic vocals and youthful energy, the five-performer group covers the popular classics and romantic ballads of the mid-20th century, from the Four Seasons to Dion and the Belmonts. With just a slight New Jersey twist, the Bronx Wanderers perform rousing interpretations of contemporary hits and classic oldies.
Initially a father-son Dion tribute band, The Bronx Wanderers have expanded into a five-person group, reinterpreting the 60s with a contemporary twist and bringing a little bit of the good old days to the modern music scene. Original members Yo’ Vinny and his sons, Vinny the Kid and Nicky Stix, are now joined by additional members, guitarist Jimmy Fracassi and guitarist and saxophonist John Tutino. The Bronx Wanderers have performed in a variety of major venues across the country, proving themselves to be one of the most sought after entertainment groups in the United States.
Aside from their interpretations of Dion classics, The Bronx Wanderers perform a repertoire of hits from nearly every decade of the last 60 years. This includes some of the most popular hits from such bands as KC & the Sunshine Band, the Bee Gees, and Bob Seger. Always fresh and never boring, The Bronx Wanderers are an invigorating reinterpretation of popular music over the last decades. Their high energy performance of Coldplay’s “Viva La Vida” is a particular crowd favorite.
