The Lyric Theatre Presents

The Edwards Twins In Celebrities

Identical twins Eddie and Anthony Edwards may look alike offstage, but onstage they transform into some of your favorite celebrities from Barbra Streisand to Elton John. Named the #1 impersonation show in the country by newspapers, TV shows, and magazines alike, The Edward Twins have traveled the world performing 250 shows a year for over 10 years. Their unforgettable night of impersonations was featured in a main story on NBC’s Today Show to rave reviews.

Eddie Edwards began impersonating female celebrities at the age of 6, with his first impersonation of Lily Tomlin’s alter ego Earnistine the Operator. Ever since, Eddie has been making people laugh and cheer with his spot-on performances of the biggest divas in the business. He got the idea of making a career out of his gift when one Halloween, someone from La Cage aux Folles encouraged him to take his Barbra Streisand impersonation to the next level. Eddie took his advice and began to travel the world sharing his act everywhere from Las Vegas to Singapore.

Born in 1965, Eddie’s brother Anthony didn’t have quite the same plans as his brother. Anthony went to the California Institute of the Arts, receiving a degree in Music and later moved to San Diego, graduating from the San Diego Police Academy in the early 90s and on the law enforcement track. Despite these initial aspirations, Anthony suddenly realizes his true calling in life. Finally recognizing his own unique talents, he joined forces with his brother Eddie to form the talented duo performing worldwide today. Anthony expertly performs over 75 characters from Neil Diamond to Lionel Richie, and is considered by the media as one of the finest impressionists in the world. People Magazine remarked that “to witness Mr. Edwards recreate these superstars is simply a miracle.” Witness the miracle this February at the Lyric Theatre!
