CLAYTON PHILLIPS-Director. Mr. Phillips assisted twenty-one time Tony Award winner, Harold Prince on both Broadway productions of “Kiss of the Spider Woman”, and “Parade’. His career highlights include work on production teams partnering not only with Hal Prince, but also Jerome Robbins, Richard Foreman, Anne Bogart, Robin Phillips, many of the industries’ most noteable directors. He’s helped to create Broadway productions including Andrew Lloyd Webber’s Starlight Express and Aspects of Love, as well as Jerome Robbins’ Broadway, Parade, Big River, Tapestry, The Fantastics and others too numerous to mention.
TERRY BARBER is the star of this series. Terry is an internationally acclaimed, rare countertenor. He is known for his extraordinary range both vocally and stylistically. Past member of the Grammy winning vocal group Chanticleer, he has performed at the best venues in the World including the Metropolitan Opera, Carnegie Hall, Moscow’s Svetanlov Hall. He has been a soloist on recordings for every major label with a variety of artists from Madonna to the London.
SHELLEY KEELOR, an equity actress and performing artist of the highest caliber, has completed solo performances in a dozen countries Shelley was a star in the Broadway Nights Tour and has had leading roles in Cabaret, Beauty and the Beast and dozens of the world’s.
JONATHAN CUMMINGS singer, guitarist, drummer is a featured vocalist/instrumentalist. Jonathan toured with Barry Manilow and is a prolific producer jingle writer. Don Carr, lead guitarist with the famed Oak Ridge Boys commented, “Jonathan has always been one of my favorite singers”
CAT CANTRELL is a multi-instrumentalist who plays more than seven instruments to great acclaim. She has just returned from a tour of Europe with the Aldeburgh World Orchestra including a performance at the Royal Concertgebouw in Amsterdam culminating at a concert for the BBC Proms at the Royal Albert Hall for the 2012 Summer Olympics in London.
JAQUELINE ROBBINS, cellist, has played in orchestras and chamber ensembles on stage with Bonnie Raitt, Dave Mathews, Judy Collins, Jackson Brown, Tony Bennett, the Trans Siberian Orchestra and Mannheim Steamroller. She has been a featured cellist with the Binghamton Symphony, Symphonic de Marcicaibo, Venezuela, and the Seattle Symphony.
THOMAS BOLD, a musical genius, is a published composer with a Grammy to his name. Thomas is co-musical director and arranger with Terry Barber, for the “Best of Broadway” series. Thomas plays the piano, organ, and conducts our chamber orchestra.
Additionally you’ll be treated to the outstanding young talent of boy soprano Erich Schuett, and sopranos (alternating throughout the tour) Alexandra Marra and Savanna Webber. Featured in cameo appearances. Your host for the concert tour is Producer, Jack Starr.
