Doggie Date Night ~ Best In Show!

Presented by the Lyric Theatre and the Humane Society of the Treasure Coast

Join us for dinner and the hysterical cult-classic, canine comedy, Best In Show.  If your date gets restless, that's ok -  he can go mingle with other tail waggers in our complimentary doggie lounge, hosted by The Fur Season’s Resort for Pets, while you enjoy the movie.  And what date is complete without dessert?  We've got you covered - with doggie bags compliments of Paws Over Tradition - A Dog Bakery.  What better way to show your pup some unconditional love than by sharing an evening of good food, laughs and maybe if your lucky - a kiss goodnight!

The tension is palpable, the excitement is mounting and the heady scent of competition is in the air as hundreds of eager contestants from across America prepare to take part in what is undoubtedly one of the greatest events of their lives - the Mayflower Dog Show. Castle Rock Entertainment brings you, "Best in Show", directed by Christopher Guest and written by Christopher Guest and Eugene Levy. This outrageous comedy is filled with an all star cast including, Parker Posey, Michael Hitchcock, John Michael Higgins, Michael McKean, Eugene Levy, Catherine O'Hara and Christopher Guest. Golden Globe nominee for Best Motion Picture - Musical/Comedy, and winner of American Comedy Award for funniest Motion Picture.

Dinner will be served 30 minutes prior to each screening.  Doors will close promptly at 5:00 pm for early screenings and 8:00 pm for late screening.  

Seating is limited.  Reservations highly recommended.

The Lyric’s Flagler Center is located at 201 SW Flagler Avenue, in the former Flagler Park Recreation Center.  The Lyric’s Flagler Center is a versatile multi-purpose venue that can be easily transformed into a black box theater, a dance club, a dinner theatre or an intimate concert setting. The Center is owned by the City of Stuart and is operated by the Lyric Theatre. The venue is available for rent for everything from meetings to weddings; it will accommodate up to 370 people.
