The Lovin' Spoonful

Get ready to feel good.  The Lovin’ Spoonful has written the book on good time music, with classic hits like “Daydream,” “Nashville Cats,” “Do You Believe In Magic?” and “You Didn’t Have To Be So Nice.”  Their “Summer In The City” remains a classic anthem for a hot summer night.  The band’s unique combination of folk music with rock and roll resulted in 12 top 20 hits in just five years.

In 2000, The Lovin’ Spoonful was officially inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.  Today the band features founding members Steve Boone and Joe Butler, as well as long-time Spoonful member Jerry Yester, who joined the group in 1967.
