Long Time Gone: Celebrating Crosby, Stills & Nash
David Crosby, Stephen Sills, and Graham Nash. Individually, they were great artists. Together, as Crosby, Stills & Nash, they were the face of folk rock.
Long Time Gone performs the songs of peace and love that you remember and cherish, in a way you’ve never heard them before. Along with the amazing harmonies for which CSN were known, they bring a multimedia program to enhance the feel of the show that includes classics like “Marrakesh Express,” “Suite: Judy Blue Eyes,” and “Helplessly Hoping” from CSN; and works from groups that shaped CSN and added to it. “Carry On” and “Woodstock” add Neil Young to the mix and Young’s “Cinnamon Girl” is also on the playlist. Buffalo Springfield is represented by “Bluebird,” and “For What It’s Worth.” Stephen Stills has “Love the One You’re With” and The Stills-Young Band has “Long May You Run.” It’s a songfest that tells the story of these great musicians and the songs that shaped an era and earned the musicians’ entry into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
Long Time Gone consists of Stephen Forrest Sanders on guitar and vocals; Ron Jarvis on bass and vocals, Robin Stratton on vocals and percussion, Bob Frank on guitar, vocals, and harmonica, Scott Velardo on drums and percussion, and Tim Longfellow on keyboard.
