Family Music Workshop with Recycled Percussion
To RSVP please call 772-220-1942 ext. 205
Join us on March 14th at 11:00am for an hour-long “junk rock” workshop like no other. This is an opportunity that is perfect for the whole family, no experience necessary! Students will have a hands-on opportunity to play alongside Recycled Percussion, learning how to become musically creative with whatever “instrument” is around. In addition, folded into the workshop are themes of anti-bullying, which is conducive to tolerance and collaboration in any environment. Bring a stock pot, bucket, or a pan, and come jam with us at The Lyric! Mom and dad, no homework…no excuses, it’s spring break and it's FREE!!
We are also looking for donated items in order to make this workshop accessible for all who are interested in attending; if you have old aluminum pots, pans and buckets to spare, it would be greatly appreciated to provide our youth with repurposed instruments.
To RSVP for this FREE FAMILY WORKSHOP or make a recycled donation please contact Lauren Epsenhart, Director of Education, at (772) 220-1942 x205 or email education@lyrictheatre.com.
