Who said an old dog can’t learn new tricks? Mutts Gone Nuts is a unique comedy thrill show featuring some of the most talented dogs you’ll ever see. Including dogs on tightwire, high flying Frisbee dogs, and Sammie the Talking Dog, Mutts Gone Nuts stars nine canine acrobats all adopted from animal shelters and rescues. Presented by Scott and Joan Houghton, the canine cabaret show is perfect for the whole family.
Scott and Jane Houghton have been performing as a comedy duo since 1985. Known for their blending of physical comedy and circus artistry, the Houghtons toured the world from Tokyo to Las Vegas. Scott and Jane have performed at Lee Greenwood’s theatre in Tennessee and performed as the featured comedy act at Dolly Parton’s Theatres in Orlando, Myrtle Beach, and Branson. In 2005, the comedy duo discovered the genius of incorporating dogs into their act, and Mutts Gone Nuts was born. The true stars of the show are the Houghton’s amazing pooches, such as Chico, the hoop jumping Chihuahua/Corgi mix, and Fritz, the jump roping American Eskimo. Mutts Gone Nuts is a high-energy, family-friendly show featuring some of the cutest, and most talented dogs in show business.
