Peter Finch, Charles Bronson and Yaphet Kotto star in this docudrama about the 1976 Air France plane hijacked by Palestinian and German terrorists and forced to land at Uganda's Entebbe Airport where the local government and its military supported them. The hijackers separated the Israelis and Jews from the rest of the hostages who they let go. The more than 100 Israeli and Jewish passengers were kept hostage and threatened to be killed unless Israel released many terrorist prisoners. It’s a story of Israel’s courage and sacrifice for the safety and freedom of Jews.

The film will be followed by a firsthand account from Sassy Reuven. a veteran of the Israel Defense Force elite "Red Beret" paratrooper unit and many covert counter terror operations, who participated in the famed Entebbe rescue mission.

The event, being held at the Lyric Theater, is a benefit event for the Chabad Jewish Center of Martin/S. Lucie, a nonprofit community based organization dedicated to enriching Jewish life with educational, spiritual and social programming and helping all in need from seniors to children and everyone in between. The centeris a non membership based organization supported by the generosity of the community and serves all regardless of background and observance, affiliation or finances.
