If you’re a diehard fan or you’re just out there takin’ ‘er easy for all us sinners,
you won’t want to miss The Big Lebowski.
Everyone’s favorite Dude is back in one of the greatest cult classics The Big Lebowski. Directed by the Coen Brothers, the comedy adventure The Big Lebowski follows the story of an unemployed Los Angeles slacker and avid bowler, Jeffrey “The Dude” Lebowski, as he is thrust into an absurd adventure filled with mistaken identities, a missing toe, and German nihilists. The film is loosely inspired by the work of Raymond Chandler. Joel Coen stated, "We wanted to do a Chandler kind of story – how it moves episodically, and deals with the characters trying to unravel a mystery, as well as having a hopelessly complex plot that's ultimately unimportant". Starring Jeff Bridges, John Goodman, Steve Buscemi, and Julianne Moore, The Big Lebowski has become so popular since its release that it inspired an annual Lebowski Fest celebration honoring all things Dude.
