At the age of 24, mezzo-soprano Sasha Cooke is quickly taking the music world by storm. This fast-rising star has earned universal praise for her operatic performances and recitals worldwide.
“. . . Ms. Cooke revealed . . . a rich voice deployed with admirable control, an expressive countenance and a winning ease onstage,” says The New York Times. “Her performance must have left many in the audience believing they had witnessed an early stage of a great career,” says The Berkshire Eagle.
Cooke won First Prize in the 2007 Young Concert Artists International Auditions, the 2007 Sun Valley Opera Vocal Competition and the 2006 Bach Vocal Competition.
