3 Redneck Tenors Broadway Bound: A Concert Xtravaganza
Those irrepressible and irresistible Rednecks are at it again, and this time they’re headed for the Great White Way! In this third episode of the Rednecks’ adventures, you’ll join cousins Billy Bob, Billy Joe and Billy Billee as they rehearse material for their Broadway debut. You’ll hear favorite show tunes from Frank Loesser, Lerner and Loewe, Rodgers and Hammerstein, Andrew Lloyd Webber and more.
Of course, when the good ol’ boys take on the classics, there are the inevitable surprises in store. Get ready for selections from “Phantom of the Redneck,” “Les Misarednecks,” and “My Fair Redneck.” And as if that weren’t enough, the cousins will present their unique interpretation of Bob Fosse’s choreography.
If you haven’t yet made the acquaintance of these mullet and bib overall-wearing Lyric favorites, get ready for some of the best fun and mighty fine singing ever to hit the stage. In fact, the Rednecks (Matthew Lord, Alex Bumpas and John Wilkerson) are classically trained opera singers. Since the debut of the first Redneck show in 2005, they have performed in over 100 cities nationwide, including a regular gig at the Luxor in Las Vegas. This Lyric performance is the world debut of their new Broadway Xtravaganza.
There’s bound to be a good time in store when the Tenors are Broadway Bound!
