Jazz artist Nestor Torres to visit schools in Martin County

The Education Foundation of Martin County has partnered with The Lyric Theatre to bring Grammy award-winning Latin jazz artist Nestor Torres to schools around Martin County.

Students and teachers from Indiantown Middle School, Martin County High School, Port Salerno Elementary School, Stuart Middle School, and Jensen Beach High School are scheduled to participate in this program.

Top high school musicians from all local high schools have been invited to come together to participate in master classes during after-school hours.

The week will culminate with a public concert at the Lyric Theatre scheduled for Oct. 29 at 7 p.m. This concert will include select students who will have worked with Mr. Torres throughout the week.
