Waltzes, Crystal & Roses - The Academy Orchestra begins the New Year with Strauss and Vienna!
Share in the excitement as the Academy Orchestra rings in the New Year with music of the Strauss family and other favorites. This concert follows the long standing New Year's celebration begun by the Vienna Philharmonic as a way of sharing peace, hope, and friendship to music lovers all over the world. With nostalgic music from the vast repertoire of the Johann Strauss family and its contemporaries, expect an evening of delightful and memorable music.
Under the direction of Thomas Servinsky, conductor/artistic director, The Academy Orchestra is one of two working mentoring orchestras in Florida designed to provide professional exposure for advanced students of the Treasure Coast Youth Symphony. Combined with professionals throughout South. Florida, the side-by-side experience of professional and students working together, provides a wonderful experience for both musician and audience alike.
