The Addam's Family Nutcracker

The Addams family and Tchaikovsky? This year, Mo’s Danceworks’ annual off-centered Nutcracker production takes audience members on a nostalgic, albeit classical journey. Clara (Wednesday), is given a cute Nutcracker by Count Drosselmeyer. She is horrified. Jealous Uncle Fester (the rat king) tries to win her over by inundating her with nightmares. Drosselmeyer & Fester go at it, the Nutcracker is helpless, and Wednesday saves the day! (Um…so-to-speak).  The journey weaves in and out of the macabre and the familiar classic tale.  Ballets, tap, jazz, contemporary and even tumbling are the genres performed by students. The result is a fun, festive, fantastical respite from your holiday stress.  This is pure entertainment. Don’t miss a  “Thing.”
