Avery Sommers
Songstress Avery Sommers will bring her cabaret act to the Lyric’s Flagler Center. Sommers has performed on Broadway in such classics as “Ain’t Misbehavin’” and “Show Boat.” She was in the national touring companies of “Chicago” and “The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas,” and plays a recurring role as Regina Dansby on the soap opera “As The World Turns.” She released a CD, “You’re Gonna Hear From Me,” in 2009.
Sommers has also performed her cabaret act at The Colony Hotel’s Royal Room in Palm Beach. Her repertoire includes everything from Broadway show tunes to selections from the Great American Songbook.
The Lyric’s Flagler Center is located at 201 SW Flagler Avenue, in the former Flagler Park Recreation Center.
